As the twigs cracked under the small cat's feet, while her tail calmly twittered back and forth. Bright amber eyes scanned the forest for her next meal, and she had found it. "Gotcha!" She hissed, trapping the rat between her paws, biting it's furry neck so it stopped wriggling. Scenting it curiously she made sure it was not diseased, too many of her kind had died from those idiotic humans poisoning their food. The ocelot had hopped safely up a tree where the lions wouldn't disturb her. Those lions tended to be bullies. She sighed and sunk her tiny white teeth into the rat meat. She pulled a bone out of her mouth disgustedly, and tossed it on the forest floor. The dogs can have that, She thought, smirking. This cat had alot of personality, tended to be like other ocelots weren't, not to mention, her pitch black pelt.

A white tiger prowled through the bushes, watching the Ocelot take her meal. Her own bright blue eyes glinted with hunger, and she slunk forth. She wasn't interested in the bones left by the Ocelot...she was interested in the Ocelot!
Glacies' coat, completed with beautiful black stripes, stood out quite badly in the forest. Only in the Winter, when the trees and ground were laden with snow, did she manage to blend in. That was for one season every year, and there was four seasons in a year...
"Ocelot...little Ocelot...." Glacies purred, slowly climbing the tree, fangs revealed and ears pulled back. Her sapphires were hooded with thick black 'brows, and currently the 'brows were pulled down, her eyes, in effect, narrowed.

Pitch auds perked as the tiger called, Chi now string directly into the eyes of the tiger. Ears pulled back as she hissed, climbing further and further up the tree. "Leave me alone!" She hissed. She knew tigers would eat other cats if it came to that. "I'm not your meal!" She shouted.

"I beg to differ." Glacies hissed, pulling herself swiftly up the tree. She was fast at climbing, and was pretty damn confident she'd be able to beat an Ocelot if the creature wanted a race...

The ocelot hissed again, now hopping off the tree. She knew where she could go that the tiger couldn't. "Go away!" She said, now running as fast as she could. Spotting her hideaway, she quickly pulled herself into the small hole. The hole had been dug by moles or gophers or something, but Chi had made it ocelot-sized. There was even a den where there was lots of room. "Try and catch me now," She mumbled, hatred burning in her eyes.

Glacies had followed silently, but now, seeing her meal vanish into the den, hissed furiously. Her lips were curled, revealing her ivorns, and her fur was raised, bristling. Her tail waved from side to side, as she spat, "Fine. I shall see you around, Ocelot." With that, she turned and prowled away, looking for her next meal...

"Ha Ha!" She laughed, voice echoing from inside the cavern. "Looks like I got'cha this time, tiger." She spat.

Glacies' ears pricked at the sound of the Ocelot's voice, but she ignored it. She continued to head away, eyeing a pair of bobcats rather hungrily. She had nothing against the Ocelot, but since it had been the only food she'd seen...it didn't matter now. What mattered was where her next meal would be coming from. What it was didn't matter...

Her ears perked as the heard the tiger sulk away. In an odd way, she felt bad for the tiger. She was only acting to her nature, She thought. Clawing her way out of the narrow tunnel, her pupils dilated due to the light.
Making her way up the large mountain in the center of the forest, her muscles began tireing from the cold and the thickness of the air. Auds perked as she recognized the sound that had caused her to climb up before. Sneaking behind the huge nest, she sank her claws into the eagle, biting it's neck at the same time. The huge bird struggled as the ocelot hurt it, but Chi remembered her training. She hit her paw right in between it's collarbones, causing the eagle to go into a state of shock. She managed to kill it once it was shocked, and dragged the huge bird down the mountain. Using her own intelligence, she managed to fashion a basket-like stucture from leaves, putting the bird inside. Now clawing down a long vines, she leapt up a tree, and dragged the bird up with her pulley-system, now waiting for the tiger to come by. She spotted the tiger, and dropped the eagle right off the tree.

Blinking in suprise as the carcass landed before her, Glacies looked round suspiciously. A trap? She didn't think so, but then, the smell of the fresh kill drowned out her senses rather powerfully. She lowered her jaws, quickly tearing at the flesh, her sharp fangs piercing the still-warm eagle corpse. "Thanks, whoever gave m'this." Glacies uttered, between chomping down heavily on the meat. The blood trickled between her fangs, dribbling over her jaws and splattering on the ground...

"Hi." She said, bringing the tiger's attention to the tree. "I hope you won't eat me now," She teased.

Glacies looked rather ashamed, casting her eyes towards the ocelot. "Sorry 'bout that..." She mumbled, looking away rather embarrassedly.

"'Tis okay," She smiled. "It was only your natural behaviour. And now I feel bad for teasing you... " She said, ashamedly. "I ran up the mountain and killed that just for you. I've used to be a human pet, so I've learned lots and am basically stronger than other ocelots..." She said, trying not to sound braggy.

Glacies slowly raised her eyes to stare Chi in the eye. "I'm sorry for attacking you, un, whats your name?" She asked, embarrassed all of a sudden to be talking to what she would have eaten ten minutes or so ago...she was so nasty...

"Chi," She purred happily, grinning. "At least we aren't very different, I mean, we're both cats, no?" She smiled. "What's your name?"
