"Glacies." The feline purred in response, ripping off another strand of meat. "I've never been near the humans." She admitted, shaking the excess blood from the strip. "Whats it like...living so close to the most powerful, the cleverest hunters in all of the world?" Glacies asked, cocking her head slightly.

"The training is okay, but they make you beg for food, and the worst part, the children. Putting you in cages, clothes, pulling your tail, ears. It's not that great. That's why I ran away." She spoke deeply, her face now turning to a more solemn look.

Glacies hissed sympathetically. "Thats cruelty! Still, at least you had friends there, right? I have no friends, no family. I cannot ever have family, for I am barren." Suddenly sounding more wise, and older, Glacies lifted her white head. "Now, I think it is time for us to say our goodbyes." She whispered, her eyes filling with tears as she turned her head and started away, the tears trickling down her face and splashing into the earth...

"I'll be your friend, Glacies. If we're the first friends in history to be a tiger and ocelot, then so be it. I like you, Glacies. And you don't see many Snow Tigers in this forest. You're original, like me. I've never had a friend, because of my pelt..." She trailed off, tears now running down her features too.

Glacies froze, her sad, upturned mouth twitching into a happy smile. "Thank you, Chi. I think your pelt is beautiful." She assured the ocelot, tilting her head, a silent invitation for chi to follow...
