Coughing slightly the man leant back on the sofa wondering what or where everyone was… The house itself was pretty much deserted, or at least, everyone was now upstairs. Sighing, he lifted his leg to place it over his other in the same old comfy manor a lot of people would do. Dark eyes scanning the area for a sign of life, after all. This place was starting to get a little boring for Good ol’ Cole. That was when he turned as he heard someone else in the house, wondering quite who they were or where they had come from…Yet no one was there “Please don’t say it was just my imagination...” He ran his hand through his blonde coloured hair, looking around as he did so, quite annoyed by the fact he was being ignored, once again. Yet you can get used to it, when people ignore you 24/7 unless your trying to kill or hurt another.
Gah, he hated the whole lot of people who lived in the house he was sat in at the moment, How he got there? Well he was meant to be looking after the baby, only deciding to lounge about the living room, after all that was much better than looking after their darned baby, why in the world did they even assign him the baby sitter… probably because if he even attempted to hurt the baby, then they would torch his ass from here to the other side of the world. Even leaving one thing in the wrong place would lead the others in the house to suspect him, quite disrespectful really. Quite annoying too. Clicking his fingers he lit a cigarette blowing it out into the air. As he did so, a small skull seemed to appear from the middle of the air. Going as soon as it had even touched the air properly.
He stood up as he heard the baby start to cry “Darned thing, can’t they just shut up so I can have my peace?” He would have preferred to go out kicking other demons ass’s then look after the stinking, profit baby. That thing could do all sorts of weird stuff, quite worrying to Cole actually, because the baby would summon him up to the room of which it was in to make sure it got some quality attention. Finding it quite funny making Cole appear many times, one of which was when Cole had got out of the shower, only a towel in his hand. “Stupid Baby..” he muttered, appearing next to it “Now what do you want?”
OoC: Now would be a great time for one of the slayer house owners to come in xD –winkwink-

Right as the baby started wailing, the door creaked open, as though it was all arranged. A figure moved inside, it's eyes shielded by the hood pulled over it's head. As the rather-slender figure moved into the house and slowly shut the door, it thought it heard the crack of a sort of teleportation. Except...something was different. It was though the teleportation had been performed on another being...but was that possible?
As the long, black garment fell to the floor, the figure was revealed. A sleeveless, low-cut white top...A pair of jeans light blue at the top, steadily turning darker blue and flaring at the ends...White trainers designed for the fastest speed possible...hair loose, falling at a shoulder length.
Her blonde hair was clean and soft-looking, and hazel eyes studied the room warily. As a slayer, it was Kalli's duty to kill demons and vampires...especially the ones causing the damage and mischeif. And the deaths.
"The baby's cryin'." She noted quietly, looking around as though seeking the way to wherever the baby was. She closed her eyes suddenly, focusing, in her mind, on the image of a feather. She had seen the feather on a nearby desk and, as she thought about it, it slowly hovered in the air, and then moved towards her. Her eyes shot open, and kalli smiled wanly. She was telekenetic; she could move objects with her mind. She was hoping that her powers could help her locate the baby...

“Oh Crap!” Cole looked around as the baby started to wail. “You little pain in the arse…” He voice seemed to echo through the room normally, as Cole looked towards the now wailing louder than ever baby. Of whom was pissing him off, and if one of the slayers came in, it would let them locate Cole much more easily. After all, he was only up in the attic. Sighing Cole looked around for something to stop the baby from wailing when he heard the creaking of the door down the stairs, “Oh, crap, someone’s here…” he looked towards the kid desperately “Shutup kid, cause you’re gonna give my place away…” this however had just made the baby cry much more than it had done before.
He moved slowly towards the door, wondering where about’s the person in the house now was, hoping that they hadn’t realized his position, or maybe even that they had realized Cole wasn’t at all looking after the baby like he was meant to. Though, this could be one of the newer slayers, and if so, they would think Cole was an immediate threat of sorts. Now looking around Cole glared back to the baby of which continued to wail, it’s cries getting very much louder, so loud that they downstairs of the house, even though it was huge, would be able to hear it perfectly.
“Darn it…”

Kalli's ears literally pricked at the sound. She raised her head, glaring up at the ceiling. She knew now that the baby was in the attic...but how to get there? She could use telekenesis to make the feather show her the way...and thats what she would do. As Kalli chanelled(sp?) her energy into the feather, it twitched and shuddered; like a kitten stuck up a high tree. Then the feather shot forwards, Kalli in pursuit, and led her through the house towards a staircase...
As Kalli saw the stairs, she nodded to the feather, which immediately darted up them. Kalli followed, smiling inwardly as the feather stopped and landed on the ground before a door. She knew immediately that the door would lead to the attic; for the staircase had been so high it was impossible for it not to.
So, Kalli slowly put one hand forth, grasping the door handle in her palm, and pushed the handle down. The door smoothly slid open, and Kalli entered the attic...

“Crap, crap CRAP!” Cole said simply, wandering back and forth as he thought of the possibilities and then Kalli of whom was running up the stairs as he had heard at this moment “Now iv’e just gotta hope this isn’t some slayer, or even one of the people who live here…” He grunted looking towards the door. Then back towards the baby, of whom had given away his position. Darn it. He hated this house sometimes, especially when it was against him, pretty much all of the time. The house itself hated demons, quite odd to say about a house to be honest, but it was true. The house seemed to have quite some energy about it and more so, it was a pain in the arse. Pretty much like everyone else who inhabited the darn thing.
OoC: Darn this will be the first and last time I do such a short post ;-;

Pupils dilating to see the shapes in the room, Kalli entered, her ears catching the words, or rather, repeated word of a male. At least; it sounded like a male. "Who's there?" Kalli asked cautiously, as the next sentence of the man, or whatever it was, rung out. 'If he doesn't want it to be a Slayer...he must be a demon or vamp.' Kalli thought, grinning lazily as she drew ever closer towards the sounds of the baby...and the man.....

He sighed looking back towards the door of which now swung inwards, dark eyes now wandering towards the door, of which the slayer now stood in ‘Crap it is a slayer..’ he said simply to himself in his mind… hoping that the slayer wouldn’t notice him standing in the middle of the room, next to the baby’s cradle. Now looking towards her again, ‘Even worse…new slayer…’ He thought to himself looking around again, deciding to take his chances and light up the room, in one click of his fingers the room seemed to become more light than it already was. Probably because, the curtains had been pulled from the wall as he done so.
“Oh a slayer? How lucky of me…” maybe he could get away with killing just one slayer? Even if he hid the body he might be noticed though. And that, is not an option. Thinking for a second, Cole looked towards the wall. Waiting for an answer from Kalli. Hoping that she wasn’t one of those slayers that would just kill a demon as soon as notice one. Yet, somehow he sensed that she was going to be. “carp…” he muttered to himself.

As more light swept across the room, Kalli's pupils dilated accordingly. She could see the man more clearly, and, by the scents coming from him, knew at once he was a demon. "This ain't your lucky day, pet." Kalli argued, approaching the demon male. She could see the baby's cradle beside him, and grew furious. How dare he sneak in, and try to commit harmful acts upon one unable to defend itself! The no-good bastard!
As Kalli drew closer, her energy was, infact, being directed at the baby's cradle. She hoped to make the cradle come to her...so she could protect it...

Nuuu. This just couldn’t be happening trust her to be a new slayer. How lucky of him, first person he would actually see in two days and it’s a fucking slayer that would much rather kind than sit down an have a nice cuppa.. He watched her simply, eyes swaying from the baby, then the slayer. It really wasn’t his lucky day. “I know it ‘’ain’t my lucky day…You just made it worse.” He said this before looking back towards her wondering what she was thinking, Crap, what if she did think he was trying to harm the baby? I mean what would it look like to have a demon hovering over a baby’s cradle, but hey the baby could probably be more Lethal than Cole at this moment.
After all, any harm done to the baby and the bloody slayers and god knows what else would come back just to make sure Cole was toasted. “Surely you don’t think I was going to hurt him do you?” His tone was obviously serious, yet who would believe him anyway. Crap, he wished he had just stayed upstairs away from the baby, but even if he did, he would have been transported to the higher part of the house. Stupid baby, had powers, many of them actually. Probably more than Cole did himself, and he also had a hex upon it, to stop Cole from actually getting within a metre of it. The baby actually found this quite funny, probably because he had more power over Cole than anyone did. And yet, he was Less than two years of age. Asshole.

"How'd I make it worse, then, pet?" Kalli inquired, as though geniunely curious, whilst slowly moving towards him. She had to put a space between the two...a demon could do a lot of damage on a baby. What she didn't know, was that the baby had powers of its own. She concentrated, focusing her energy on the cradle, but to her suprise her powers were deflected. Her muscles tensed instantly; she reckoned the demon was blocking her...or even his presence. "Yea. You are gonna harm the kid. Just step away from the cradle, pet, and let me get the kid away." She spoke calmly and softly, as though speaking with the baby itself. She glared at Cole like a spoilt child who wanted something...and wasn't getting it.
She wasn't used to not getting what she wanted...

“Well, even having you here makes it worse…” He said simply looking back towards her again, as the baby seemed to start screeching again, that was, just as Cole looked back towards it, darn baby. Crap! Maybe the slayer was trying to get to the baby, being a demon and pretending to be a slayer? Oh scary. Taking a step towards the baby he walked straight into an invisible barrier, “Bloody Hell…” he said simply rubbing his head, this was great, just great, the baby was using it’s defense mechanisms to stop Cole or Kalli from getting anywhere near it, yet Kalli would probably end up thinking, Cole was trying to transport the baby or maybe that the mother had put a Hex on it, to stop anyone from getting near the bloody thing when it was worried.
“Oh I am now? Trust a slayer to jump to predictions about me, well hey, don’t they all?” He smirked looking towards the baby “Your not going to save the baby anyway, not without a fight…” This however was said wrong, the word ‘save’ was included accidentally after all. Also, Cole would only end up dead, probably because the mother would make sure he died a painful death after, the slayer tried to get him, Darn it. It just wasn’t working.

Kalli stifled a peal of laughter as Cole smacked straight into the invisible barrier, head first. Something began to dawn on her, and she took his next words more seriously. "Your not going to save the baby anyway, not without a fight…” The words rang in her ears, beat with her heart. She knew then she'd been wrong to think that perhaps he was merely looking after the baby.
So, instead, she raised her hands. Balling her hands into fists, Kalli assumed a boxer's stance, glaring at him. "You want a fight for the baby? You got one." She growled, eyes narrowed with hatred. "You know...I even thought that maybe you were just looking after the baby. Then you want me to fight you for it. Well, I'll fucking well fight you, Demon!" Kalli added, ready to fight...

“That Luvvie was not funny, and more so it hurt…” He sighed before looking straight at her again, aww, poor Cole, it was beginning to be a bit of a pain in the arse for him, especially when the bloody slayer arrived. And, now just to make it worse the slayer actually though Cole, of all people was trying to hurt the bloody baby. Looking towards the invisible barrier, he glared at it in a sort of ‘I hate inanimate objects’ sort of way that was before returning his gaze to Kalli.
“No, actually I would rather… Oh forget it…” he moaned looking back towards her again, glaring as he did so. He didn’t need this.. Not at the moment, especially since he had just had a fight with a bloody Necromancer and now the F’ing slayer was trying to kill him, perfect, absolutely perfect. “Go ahead and fight me for the demon… Does it look like I care about the bloody thing?” His voice seemed to be full of concentration at this point.

Kalli listened, silent and unmoving, as he spoke. Demon? The baby, did he mean? "The baby...you call it a demon?" She asked, worry lines creasing her forehead. Her fists lowered slightly, as though she was hesitant. In truth, she was, yet she still glared at him, thinking it would be safer for all concerned if he just moved away from the baby...demon or not.
"What would make you think the child was a demon? After all; as a demon you should know another demon..." As she spoke, her words became slower and slower, as though she was considering them herself. She shook her head as if to clear the thoughts, the doubts. "Don't worry 'bout what I just said." She muttered, in a barely audible voice. Her eyes held another emotion now...pity? regret? embarrassment? Probably a mix of both regret and embarrassment, more than pity...

Cole looked towards Kalli again before sighing “So are you just going to stand there and let me kill you?” he paused for a moment before looking back towards the baby “It would make my day a whole lot better…After all, one less F’ing slayer in the world”. He looked towards her again, as she let down her guard “Oh and trust me, by letting down your guard, your going to kill yourself…” Oh she was very stupid, if Cole had the first chance he’d much rather kill the slayer than have another in the world, plus, why in the world would someone trust a Demon? Especially when this Demon just so happened to be the very untrustworthy Cole. And. No he would not move away from the baby, even if she forced him too, either way the slayers would try to –ahem- slay him.
“The child isn’t a demon… Why in the world would you think that?” He looked towards her, hoping that this was not containing any sarcasm at all, after all most of his sentences did. “Don’t worry? Make up your bloody mind woman…” He said simply glaring at Kalli as he did so, getting quite pissed of that she just couldn’t make up her mind. Oh, but if she let her guards down, he would be able to kill her, then woo! One less slayer in the world. Oh Joy!
