Oh yay, it was getting light again, wait, that’s bad. A short sigh came from the mans mouth as he looked around, he had previously been booted out of the Occult house, most probably because of some slayers and a baby with powers. How odd. Looking out of the window Cole sighed again, dark eyes hitting the sun, before looking away again, unknowing about what was going to happen at this point. As he looked around, his eyes caught upon a small medallion like thing that was upon a small desk in the corner, his desk. Walking over to pick it up, in a small ‘poof’ of pink smoke a figure seemed to appear in front of him “That’s mine…” She said swiping up the medallion before looking back to Cole again “Been kicked out of the house eh?” she said simply, her voice almost wispy “Quite a shame, poor baby with no one to look after it….Who am I kidding? You are a crap Babysitter…” She smirked looking back towards him again. Of course cole hadn’t had much of a chance to speak at the moment probably due to the woman’s really fast talking and the fact she hadn’t really taken a breath.
“Oh great, I feel so happy to have you here…” His tone was quite sarcastic before he turned to hear another ‘poof’ this time, purple smoke “Oh great Samael and Valen? All at once I feel privileged.” He looked up towards them before being pushed down onto the cabinet by the female. “Now Cole-kins we need you to help us get the baby…” Her voice was strict and forceful “Because if you don’t I’ll send you back down to the hell you came from.” Cole pulled himself up before brushing himself down. “It’ll be my privilege…” He said simply, this however was only replied like this because of what had happened a few days earlier, when he had been kicked out of the house.Gah, he didn’t care less about Rachel at this point, after all, she did kick him out of the house. Well, by saying ‘didn’t care less’ was a tad over the top, as something was telling him not to do it, however, demon instincts tell him to. Confusing. Very confusing. Exiting through the front door Cole sighed, pulling his coat of the hook as he did so, swinging it over his shoulders and finally on properly. Stepping out into the streets appropriately, down the alleyways and such, quite a while away from the house.

“Going to get a baby for a buddy?” There were two small pats as she pushed herself off the top of the rail she had been sitting on, her trainers touching down onto the floor smoothly, brand new- or looked it- the white couple with the black of the soles making a very dramatic effect as they slipped into the light from the shadows that had housed their owner. Who, by the way, looked far away from the condition her trainers were in. Her hair was dramatically tousled, the fading black die that had once covered all of the locks now receding to the normal golden brown, it was impossible to tell whether they had been styled to look like she’d been caught in a fight or if she had partaken in one. The rest of her clothes were similarly effected- the pale, loose jeans ripped in several places revealing stripes of tanned skin beneath and her black top torn down the middle below her chest. In fact, she could have looked like your ordinary preppy teen-ager, was it not for the fact that she looked like she’d been beaten up and then mauled by a panther. Grinning smugly, she held out the newspaper she had collected off Cole’s door step an hour or so before. Yes, she had been purposefully waiting for him to leave through his front door, but no-one needed to know that. Raising an eye brow in a questioning way, she wandered forward to stand next to Cole, the newspaper evidentially meant for him.
Tabitha had always been one of those annoying know-it-alls who had developed a dramatic personality, she’d hung out regularly around these parts until a few months before- at which point she had disappeared with no warning. From what it looked like, the reason for her sudden departure had neither been good or nice, even though aside from her ruined clothes she seemed other wise intact. How did she know where poor Cole was going? She was nosey and being nosey meant she had found a way to listen, even if it meant a ridiculous use of her otherwise pointless powers. Being a young demon meant she wasn’t the best. “And yes, I feel great, actually. Never better, plus I am happy to see you, before you ask.” With a smirk, she pushed the paper onto his chest before wrapping her hands around her stomach in what looked like a little hug for herself, but was actually what she tended to do with little else to do. Cole ought to remember her; she hadn’t spent three months pestering to no end for him to just go and forget her. How could he forget her? She had an insatiable habit of getting into trouble with all of the local gangs, human, demon or otherwise.

Cole turned to see her before looking around at the part of the area which was light “Buddy? No, I’m gonna kill the bloody thing…” He said simply, in an almost practiced way, looking towards the shadows in which she lurked, shuffling to the side a bit to make sure he was comfortable. Watching as a small streak of light appeared and semi-lighted the alleyway. “What happened to you, Roadkill?” He said simply realizing the state she was in, quite odd really, looked as though she had been in a few fights with the slayers, Crap, if she had, and she better had killed them, asses. Oh Cole’s clothes actually looked great when compared to hers, but then her trainers were still untouched, odd really. Watching as she held out the newspaper he took it, straight away, reading the front cover of which one of the slayers was on again, “Oh exciting, same darn thing every day, why are slayers so bloody special?” His reply was quite harsh, no reason really.
Oh, yes, Cole remembered Tabitha very well, He could even remember her disappearing, because after that point, the slayers came after him, not that they weren’t before though. “Oh that’s great; it means I don’t have to bother asking. Even better...” he said simply replying to her, almost immediately. Oh this was going to be fun, maybe with her back, Cole had more chance of getting rid of each and every single one of the slayers, who was he kidding? Gragh, he had an awful habit of getting into stuff he shouldn’t need to as well, but with the slayers, it was personal. How he envied, them and their stupid ‘I shall save the world from evil today!’ Moods. Personally, he was glad to have someone back around the place, gets kinda lonely most of the time, when you are alone.

“What happened to me? Well that would be an interesting story…” She replied, in equal amounts to sarcasm of his own her eyes narrowing as she did so and the smile fading. She had forgotten how much of a prick Cole could be, that must be one of the side effects of being kidnapped and having to fight your way out alone. You begin to think that everything about your past life was glorious and bright compared to the dreary situation you’re stuck in through out it all. Raising a hand from her side she pulled it through her hair, snagging on several knots as it went and managing to flatten it slightly, which made it look slightly tamer. Back before she had disappeared from Cole’s life, she’d had fully dyed hair which was purposely styled to look wavy and wild, but the rest of her clothes had been impeccable. Compared to that the Tabitha with him now looked like a complete and utter mess, well, not including the shoes. They only looked good because she’d stolen them from the retailer earlier that day as she had walked, bare foot, through the streets. (She had also stolen socks, because she hated wearing shoes with out them.) She was quite proud of her new pair, even if she would have preferred blue parts instead of black. Looking at the front page as he held it out- she had failed to think of even reading it while she had sat bored on the rail- she saw the picture and snorted at it, she had once not minded slayers at all, but wouldn’t have given them the time of day. Now? Not quite so much. After the demented one who had kidnapped her had tortured her, she didn’t even want to think about them unless it was to think of them being ripped to pieces by ten-headed, rabid dogs.
Looking back up at Cole, she smiled in a friendly way, which only proved to make her seem younger then she really was. “Aren’t you excited to see li’l old Tabitha?” She had the urge to hug him loosely, but controlled it; the aim would be to annoy him- which she enjoyed to- but there were other feelings involved. School girl crush. Except- of course- she wasn’t in school and had never really wanted to be… And pretty soon she wasn’t going to be a girl any more either. Ah, trivialities. “You know you want to say yes.” She smirked, punching him playfully on the arm in her standard fashion. Whoo.

“Interesting? That’s odd to have around here, but you weren’t around here, so forget that!” Oh Sarcasm, one of the world’s most annoying yet most used way’s of speech, well most used by Cole that is. Maybe he was happy that she had gone, but now having her back? It was an okay feeling, especially when you’re alone most of the time, thanks to being what you are, or just because most people hate you. “Much better!” He joked looking towards her as she made her hair much more…tamer? In fact, Tabitha looked quite different from what she used to, or at least, what he thought she used to look like. Cole, had continued to scan through the pages of the newspaper, most of the people who miraculously saved people from getting attacked by others, unbelievably being Slayers, many of which Cole knew, and quite hated too. Oh the thought of rabid dogs tearing a slayer apart, that was just, wow.
“Excited would be one word, maybe…” Cole replied to Tabitha suddenly looking back towards her “maybe you could help me get rid of the baby?” This part however was muttered as though he was considering it. What if Tabitha ruined it all? Made it go wrong? Nah, surely she wouldn’t. Cole trusted her, a bit. “Okay, best answer you’re getting of me is Maybe, just maybe.” He said simply before looking towards the entrance of the alleyway, before being punched by her, how Joyful, one of the best reunions ever. Not.

Aw, come one, admit it. He was glad to have her back, Tabitha knew that- besides from herself- Cole had hardly any one else to talk to, which was one of the reasons that she liked to hang around near Cole. Not only did she like him, but it wasn’t very likely that he’d completely ignore her because he had other places to be- that included friends, any way. She simply rolled her eyes in a world weary manner as he started on about the area not being interesting, her arms going back to be crossed under her chest. But minus the hug. Poking her tongue out as he commented on her now more or less tamer hair, she looked away down the alley, then at her shoes. Yes, she kept becoming mesmerized by the cool white that they practically glowed compared to the dull, dim colours of the rest of the alley. It was also, something to do with not seeing a clean surface for… How long? She couldn’t remember, she hadn’t seen the date any where today or couldn’t remember it. She didn’t actually know when she’d gone missing, she’d pretty much been kidnapped before she had properly woken up. It had been one of those mornings where she’d woken up, got ready and stepped out the door… Right into the arms of her kidnapper. Yay. She rubbed her eyes slightly in a tired way, she was sleepy but trying to hold it back, she’d used up a lot of energy running around and robbing the shoe store… The usual. Looking back at Cole she managed to catch his reply to her little statement, which just made her grin return full force. “And the other would be… Aroused?” She joked, smirking at her own joke before looking away as though completely innocent to its existence.
“But, I’d love to help you kill some innocent baby heartlessly. It’s a date.” Back to folding her arms around her, more because she had nothing to do with them then because she didn’t feel like being over-the-top with actions today. Hopefully Cole wasn’t that pissed, so he’d put up with her usual ‘The world loves me, oh yes it does!’ personality, though it had changed since she had gone missing. Before she would have been cocky and arrogant, she was more with drawn today, either because of exhaustion or her ordeal, it didn’t seem sure. A hand lifted once again to tuck and annoying strand of hair behind her ear, slender fingers making sure it was definitely ledged away out of her eye sight before it dropped back into her crossed arm hug.

But he had much preferred being alone, it was let’s say…peaceful? Pausing he looked back towards her again, the look on his face, quite amusing really, the look that would say to you ‘I am not amused…”. Sighing he looked back towards his feet “Well, no not really the word I was thinking of?” he smirked looking around. Well, Cole did actually have a few friends, but most were actually just other demons, vampires etc, Oh! He knew someone, he hadn’t actually talked to in a long time, quite an old friend of his. Club owner, whom was also a demon, He wasn’t exactly /posh/ but he had a much more intelligent lifestyle and instead of getting rid of the slayers himself he would get his ‘cronies’ to get rid of them. Oh, he was quite a good friend but had disappeared a few months ago, just after Tabitha had. Leaving Cole alone, pretty much. Ever since then Cole had been trying to dispose of as many of the slayers as possible. Most nights just ending up in a bar drunk, or locked up in his apartment, bored out of his mind yet knowing that if he went out the darn slayers would try to do what they done best. Slay after all. The date? Even Cole didn’t know that one, he’d much rather forget and not know about the date than know it after all, why do you need the date when you’re a demon? He had even forgot his birthday, and pretty much all the other occasions, apart from Halloween and Christmas of which were obvious due to the many decorations that mortals would put up on the celebration.
“Oh, that’s good then, get rid of that thing once and for all?” he said simply considering something before looking back towards her wondering when the best point to go and kill the ‘helpless’ thing would be. Well, when it came down to Cole being Pissed, this was probably going to be one of the worst days to do it., after all he was really pissed at the slayers, especially Kalli one of the newer Slayers who decided that she would just walk straight into his apartment,. Pulling on his coat properly he looked back towards her “So, you comin’?” He said starting to walk down the alleyway, the one leading to the end of the street, not that far away from the house of Occult. Perfect.

"Why, is there a word that implies a lot more then that you’d rather use?” She retorted, evidentially smirking at his face, bouncing up and down on the balls of her feet while her hands were clasped in front of her as though she was the darling little angel. How far from the truth could that be? Even if she was a human she would never be able to be described as innocent, she had been exactly the opposite for a long time now. Being tortured by a demented slayer? That hadn’t improved the situation all that much. Unlike Cole before she had been kidnapped Tabitha had owned a very active social life, a large amount of friends- none very close how ever- and even larger amount of people who weren’t her friends but who she knew enough to chatter to and an almost endless supply of boys whose emotions she could toy with and then leave alone some where. Unfortunately these also lead to her having a huge amount of enemies that weren’t just from the gangs that she had a habit of crossing, so it had only been a matter of time before she was kidnapped or worse. A lot of demons had been going missing or being slain just lately- or had been when she’d vanished- so she had to assume that the slayers had gone out of line and decided to take a vendetta against them even though the good side was fighting just as sneakily. Settling down again to stand patiently, she watched with idle eyes as he pulled on his coat. “Sure am.” She started off again to follow him, white trainers looking quite evident against the alley floor.

“Oh, probably, after all, from being around for so long means you know a hell of a lot of them!” he said simply yet cheerily for some reason, first time he had said something in that tone for god knows how long, and my did it feel great. He stood there for a second considering something, perhaps it was going to be a bit of trouble getting to the baby, especially if that slayer was there, pain in the arse she was, especially when she was a new slayer, not much skill, even though she had threatened Cole with his own axe, talk about cheek. Pausing he looked back towards Tabitha again, smiling “ok then best get going!” he continued in the cheery manner, turning around only to grimace, Crap! How was he even going to get into the house, at the moment the slayers had put an ‘anti-Cole’ Spell on it, after all, Rachel knew what Cole was like, a bit of a pain in the arse to be precise. Oh Tabitha! She would be able to get in right? The spell itself was used to keep a specific person out of the house, in this case it was Cole, therefore, yes he would do that.
Turning to see if she was still there he smiled “So! I have a proposal to make!” he said simply trying to keep the tone cheery, in the sort of way, it could yet it was still cold. “I may need your help a bit more than I suspected…” he said simply smiling “Would you be able to go in and get the baby?” he said simply looking back towards her again, wondering if she was going to say yes, after all, they would be stuck outside the house if she did. Pulling his coat up he started to walk towards the house again, making sure he wasn’t to far ahead of Tabitha.

Whoa! Cheerful! Tabitha had to bite her own tongue painfully to stop herself from screeching as though she was going to be murdered. The thought of Cole being truly cheery sent a shiver down her spine she would other wise have liked to avoid, it was an odd sensation to suffer from in accordance to him, usually it was the heart doing the little wrestling match in her chest as it pressed for her to suddenly gush that she loved him and would he please sleep with her to get it out of her system, while her brain cried to keep quiet and try to avoid embarrassing herself. That was how Tabitha thought- she associated love with, well, doing it. That was what happened when you grew up as a runty little demon on the streets and had to mess around with humans instead. She was a runt of a demon, really, hardly any powers and definitely no physical strength to make up for it, so she made up for it by… Well, if you haven’t guessed by now then you’re as dumb as a rock and probably twice as cold. The fright showed on her face at the sudden brightness of his voice. Cole and happy didn’t mix in her little world, she had never seen him so. (Probably he wasn’t happy because she was there? She had never found out.) He turned around and she inwardly sighed to herself with relief- that had been worse then when the psycho slayer had tried to scalp her. (Don’t ask, don’t ask.) It hadn’t been much of a threat, but it sure was as hell creepy.
Starting to walk after him, she was instead faced with this smiling apparition that Cole had become. She almost jumped out of her skin. She was eighteen! She needed to go home to her parents and cry! She didn’t need Cole acting really weird! She returned the smile and nodded though, it not looking so out of place on her as it did on him, actually making her look… Pretty? Despite the fact she looked like she’d been dragged through a hedge back wards? “I sure would, Holmes.” Then he was gone again and she felt like sobbing with some kind of desperate relief. No. She couldn’t break down. Not now. Pulling her self back together- patting down her ruined clothes as though they weren’t mangled and filthy- she strode after him confidently. The confidence was feigned, how ever.

Agh, his cheerfulness, wasn’t at all his fault, in fact it was a sudden emotion that had came on. “great!” he said simply smiling, that was when his old self came back to realism. The cheery, happy-go-lucky person that inhabited Cole was probably killed somewhere during the walk, he sighed before looking around to see if she was still there, hoping that she hadn’t just ran of to some field with pretty pink rabbits and such. Nope she was still there “Hurry up…” he said sarcastically before looking back towards the house, of which was now visible and not that far away, he yawned before taking a step out into the sunlight, taking a step back quickly before continuing to walk, deciding to wait up for Tabitha, after all, he did need her, at this point in time anyway. Now he just had to hope he didn’t develop any peculiar emotions while she was around, that would be absolutely awful. Just as bad as his happy-go-lucky self that had just appeared coming back again to haunt him.
Waiting there for her to catch up he sighed inwardly, looking back towards her again, wondering how long it would take someone to walk. Agh, the happy cheery signs burned, one of the many with some grinning pink rabbits, advertising a breakfast cereal. ‘Cheery-O’s’ Oh my you could associate Cole with ‘Cheery-O’s’! Not… in fact Cole was quite the opposite. Pulling himself back together he looked towards Tabitha again, rolling his eyes at her own speed, of which compared to his was nil.

Tabitha did not like rabbits. Neither did she like pink all that much- And the chance of her running off to look at some pretty pink rabbits? About as likely as Cole suddenly fawning over her every need and making sure it was fulfilled. She was tired, she’d walked over ten miles through the night to get here and she was allowed to feel a little dozy after all of that. If Cole was yawning out of boredom then she was yawning out of exhaustion. Actually, ever time Cole looked round she made a big show of rubbing her eyes and yawning, sometimes stretching to let him know that she was, in fact, tired and that this was her doing him a favour, not her doing it because he had asked ever so nicely. She watched with apprehension as the House came slowly into view, she couldn’t believe she was going to go in there, with all of the slayers. The thought of them made her shudder involuntarily, reminding her of the little run in she had suffered with the demented one she had only just managed to escape from now. The escape itself was a very long story and not one she wanted to divulge in right now, she still couldn’t believe that she had managed to traipse all the way here across the city mostly in bare feet. “I am…” She whined at the command to hurry up the pace of her walking, though she did no such thing and continued to trudge slowly along behind him as though nothing in the world would make her go any faster.
Thankful that he had stopped- she was more then half a street behind him and the distance was growing longer with nearly every step- she didn’t hurry up. Instead she chose to take longer in her little wandering, showing him that she did not need to rush around like a headless chicken just because he had said so. She poked her tongue out as he rolled his eyes and then, no more then half a minute later, she was by his side once more, looking exhausted and excited all at once.

‘Bout the first person Cole had seen that didn’t like rabbit’s but hey Tabitha was different. As he would look around, there it was again, her yawning and rubbing her eyes, obviously she was doing this purposely right? “Good…” He said simply leaning back against the wall as he waited for her to get closer, after all he couldn’t go in so he expected her to, yay! Yes, there was definitely going to be a few slayers in there, maybe a few familiars and other magic folk on the good side of this ‘war’. However, the worst thing in that house was the baby, probably because it could do all sorts of crap. Ranging really, after all it was the prophet. This was hopefully going to be a simple task, or Cole would have to actually use some of his own energy to get into the house, which would be a problem. Cole smirked as she reached his side before wandering forwards again, going to the front of the house not to long after, making sure she was still beside him, he hadn’t actually checked while he was walking. He paused before looking towards Tabitha “So, you sure you want to do this?” This surprisingly was a question, not a demand like it would normally be with Cole, in fact he worried a little at what actually lurked inside the house at the time, and if Tabitha came into any trouble in there then it would be his fault, yes he cared…a bit. He looked back around towards the house, watching as a small crow perched itself upon it’s roof, cawing. From where it was standing, underneath it in the room under the attic the baby would be, Cole knew it’s whereabouts, well he hoped so.
Rachel however had been wandering back and forth in the room below the baby, wondering what had happened to the new slayer ‘Kalli’ and then where Cole had disappeared to, she worried a lot, too much in fact. Well no wonder when your son was actually also the son of the very demon that was so intent on killing it. Rachel had to make sure that wasn’t possible. After all, the baby was her responsibility, luckily she had a few ‘helpers’ on her hand if anything bad were to happen, and the baby had a higher knowledge in magic than Rachel herself anyway, the baby itself named ‘Sammael’ by the ‘mysterious’ father, of which didn’t even know about the baby yet, Rachel was trying to keep that secret, just a little bit longer. She shifted in her seat before looking back towards the front door, worried in the slightest about the whereabouts of everyone.

"As sure as you are sarcastic.” And, with that, Tabitha was away in a very purposeful stride towards the house. Are you sure? What kind of question was that? Of course she was bloody well sure. Why would she say yes to something if she wasn’t sure? Through the gate she went, not looking at all out of place, she could so easily been a slayer on their way back from a fight where she had not fared well. How could she possibly be scared of some stinking baby? Unlike Cole, she wasn’t completely clued up about what the baby was, so she could only imagine that Cole was being fussy about having to hold something that might drool over his clothes, or whose mother might come running after him screaming about kidnapping and child abuse. There was only two things in the world that Tabitha was truly scared about- the first one was her parents, both of whom had enough wrath in their blood to dispose of a runt like her and any other they so wished with enough effort, and the second was the demented Slayer who had kidnapped her. Not that she was afraid of him. No, she was petrified of him. But neither of them were going to be in this house, so she was generally as safe as she could possibly be- or so she thought. Finishing the small trip down the path she paused at the front door, reaching out a hand tentatively before it grasped at the handle and turned, swinging open.
She shouldn’t have been surprised. Slayers probably walked in and out of the building on a regular basis, what would be the point in having a locked door there? Stepping into the threshold, finding no sudden sprouting of extra limbs or sudden repelling back into the street, she turned round and smirked back at Cole in a ‘What were you so scared of? You big wimp?’ sort of way; before striding into the interior. She might have been a poor excuse for a demon, but she had a few powers- keener smell, hearing, eye sight and a better sense of direction being a few of the less then amazing gifts she had been allowed. This did allow her to know that there were a few rooms occupied- there was a group in a room on this floor, a few on the second… Heading for the stairs she started to climb upwards, she’d be able to smell and hear a baby when she got closer- they had an odd smell on them and made different sounds. Her hearing was good enough to make out heart beats when pressed enough.
Getting onto the second floor she still couldn’t smell anything to indicate that a baby was around, but her eyes picked up on the stair case and she immediately started for it, not loosing the same pace and concentrated walk as before. Up the steps she went, immediately realising that the baby was in the room above as the smell and noise met her. Great. She was surprised she’d got through the house as fast as she had and with as much ease, but then she doubted whether any other demon would have willing wandered into the House. Seeing the cradle she headed towards it instantly, having no real slue what to do now. Well, she might as well talk to it. “Hello!” Christ, she sounded just like one of those human mothers… “You’re a cute-y, aren’t ya?”
