Without thinking Rath gathered her into his arms and said softly in a soothing voice, "We'll find her...I promise." As much as he wanted to dislike her he found himself falling for her and fast...

Artic felt her body tense in his arms. "I'm sorry." She whispered, tearing away from him. She was pained to do this, but she knew the consequences of letting her heart lead her head. And, truth be told, she did feel something for him...

Rath looked away ashamed and said, "No...I'm sorry...I..." Shaking his head he turned and shifted into his dragon form before taking off into the woods running swiftly...

"Rath..." She called after him, her tail drooping sadly as she sniffed back tears...

Rath finally stopped and laid down at the river about an hours walk form the village. The tears ran down his black muzzle and he shook them away thinking miserably to himself, *She doesn't like me at all...*

Artic had wandered in the other direction, before coming across a cave. She crawled into it, resting her head beneath her left wing and sobbing, great, wracking sobs which sent the cave shivering.

Soon it was dark and soon Rath headed towards his cave only to find Artic in it. He bristled slightly but passed her in silence headed further into the cave before curling up on the ground...

Artic blinked, then leapt up, in her dragon form still. "Rath." She breathed, skulking around, not knowing whether to approach or leave him.

Rath let out a large exhale of air and stared off into the darkness his violet eyes glowing faintly in the dark...

Naught but the tall grass of the valley stirred in the cool breeze. That and the slick figure of a dragon. Compared to others, it had always been laughed at, teased, and it's size was about the size of a wolf's. But everyone has secrets. Chi was quater wolf, quarter fairy dragon, half sky dragon. Sleek, lean form, and as blacker than a piece of coal. The three green stripes coming down from her left eye seemingly glowed in the daylight, but never at night. Of course used for survival in many Fairy Dragons. Fairy dragons were large wolf sized, so around where her mother came from there where many like herself. Except where she came from, there were none like her. She came from the Sukaidu Clan, where the majority was wind dragons. But she now had no home. The clan's leaders were... possessed in a way. They had driven their clan away! The thoughts brought tears to Chi's amber eyes, but she shook them away. She had narrowly escaped an encounter with an Anslan Dragon, so her heart was now pounding. Tiny feather-like wings floating above her back beat slowly as she padded through the pack's territory. I'm being so reckless, she thought worriedly. But she wasn't paying attention to her surroundings anymore. She was now staring directly into the eyes of one of the Anslan dragons.

The male dragon growled at Chi. He was a dark black-violet color and had deep blue-amythest eyes. His name was Cisaz and his body was covered with sharp spikes. He growled again and said, "What do you want dragon? Your tresspassing on Nzerec's lands..."

Artic followed Rath determindly, holding her head high, and her tail sailed on a breeze. her wings folded on her back, and she spat bitterly, "I'm not going to let you out of my sight." She informed him, following closely.
