Sacred Blessing, an elementally gifted fox pack!

Crystal-clear waves slowly hit the shore. The bark of a fox sent the humans scrambling from the picturesque beach in fear. The fox lazily watched, before approaching the shore and casting a wary look down at the water. She snarled as some water splashed up against her slim figure. She was a vixen, a female fox. As she sat, her blue-tipped tail curled around her. Her fur, ruffled by a seaside breeze, shone brilliantly, a mix of silvers and whites. A wintery pelt, indeed. Her fur was almost all white, but her muzzle, paws and tail were silver. A marking; a silver-and-gold flame, shone on her left flank.

She had claimed this beach as part of her terrain many years ago. She was four years old, and acted her age. She had grown up in this terrain, as first Gamma, then Beta of her pack. When all of her packmates but her had been killed by hunters, she had kept the terrain herself, knowing that, although she lived alone; the only and now first member of the pack, she would one day find some other foxes to join her pack; Sacred Blessing. She hoped that day was today.

Lifting a wintery muzzle, Kelya (pronounced : Kill-ya) uttered a long, wolf-like howl. It swept throughout her terrain, probing into the darkest corners of the forestry, sweeping through the towns and cities. She was calling all foxes to her, and hoped at least one would respond to her rallying cry...

A pair of black auds shot up. Lime green eye searched the skies as the howl was heard. The auds and eyes belonged to a pure black fox. His paws were stained grey and tail tipped white. He smiled slightly. He trotted toward the sound. He was knwn as Kitsun. He searched for the one who cried and found her. He slowly walked up to her and bowed slightly. "I heard your cry." he said.

Kelya dipped her muzzle in response. The flame marking on her left flank seemed almost to pulse, with an unknown energy, as she did so.
"Nice to know some listen. What is your curse?" Her voice was soft, yet rather high-pitched; normal for a vixen, and her bright blue eyes shone with a mysterious light. By 'curse', she meant both what was his name, and his element. If he even had one.

She herself was of the fire element; Wildfire to be precise. Wildfire was more powerful than the normal fire element, and it only came to those whom, of the fire elemental, were destined to be alpha or alphess of a pack. She was one of the few whom were, indeed, destined to be Alpha/Alphess...

"My name Tarric. (pronounced:tear-rick) and I am cursed with the dark and shadow powers." he said, a black glow lipping from his paws. He bowed in respect to Kelya. "My I join your pack?" he asked.

Kelya snorted with mirth.
"I doubt it. Your powers will need tuning before you can join. And you must also pass a test." As she spoke, her blue eyes lit up, a strange blue flame dancing within them. The flame marking her flank glittered, before vanishing, along with Kelya. Everything went dark...

When the place was filled with light once more, Tarric was alone. He was no longer on the beach, but inside a volcano. The volcano where Kelya had learned to control her powers of Wildfire.
"To pass the test, you must defeat me in combat." Kelya's voice announced, echoing throughout the volcano...

"If that is what I must do." he said a little surprised. He did not really wish to fight the alphess, but if he was to join her pack, he would. "I am ready when you want me to be." he said bowing. He was tought to always bow before he fought.

Watching from the mouth of the volcano, Kelya smiled. He was spunky, thats for sure. Protected by a ball of pulsing green flames, Kelya slowly drifted down, the only thing stopping her from flying down and smashing onto the ground being the flame ball. Slowly, she controlled the flames untill just a few feet in the air. Then, she leapt out of the ball, making it disappear with a wave of her left paw. The marking of the silver and gold flame on her left flank had re-appeared.

Dipping her muzzle in a response to his bow, Kelya allowed her instincts to take over. She knew there was no way he could ever dream of defeating her, being as he was a lone fox. Loners always had much weaker powers than pack foxes. The higher a fox was ranked, the better its powers would be. This was usually through training with the Alpha or Alphess. However, if he put up a good show or she discovered his 'curse' to be strong and pure, she would let him into the pack. Her own 'curse' was one of power and healing, and Kelya knew if she was injured in just the slightest bit, then she would be healed instantly. Submitting to her instincts, Kelya growled fiercely.
"Give me your best shot." She ordered, her tail lifted dominantly.

Tarric nodded. "If you wish." he said. He suddenly disappeared from sight. He then reappeared next to Kelya. His paws wereglowing and leapt forward, attempting to strike Kelya with a dark force.

Kelya, almost lazily, disappeared, flames appearing where she had been. She knew that if he came into contact with the flames, he would be seriously injured. Seeing as though his paw was mere centimetres from the flames, there was no way he would be able to dodge. She re-appeared behind him, her body covered in flames, and leapt at him, so that if he didn't touch the flames somehow, she would burn him herself...

Tarrick was hit hard. Her back leg was permanatly burned. He laid on the ground for a moment, but then got up. "Nice.." he said softly. He then disappeared, dot reappearing. He was still there, just not in his normal form.

((There was no way he could do a sphere that strong. Kelya is alphess and hes a lone fox. His powers should be ALOT weaker than hers))

"Ouch." Kelya said boredly, as if feeling sorry for him. She didn't. She disappeared also, the only visible evidence she was still in the cave was a flame burning where she had stood...

Tarrick reappeared, seeing the flame, but was unsure of where the alphess was. He prepaired himself.

Watching from the volcano mouth, Kelya was impressed. Unlike most stupid foxes, Tarrick had realised that the flame was not her. That alone allowed him entry. Smiling, Kelya clapped her paws together. Suddenly, both appeared once more at the shore, the water stroking their paws.
"You may join. I'm Kelya; alphess." Kelya nodded, smiling vaguely.
